To start a SEVENTH thread nobody responds to?

Because of the mysterious popularity of these threads which no-one is actually responding to, here's the Seventh Thread.

The other ones have all filled up, but I'm not at all sure how.

(I have done this by proxy for VanillaSugar).

Come on people! Call to action here!

We have Being's* wedding to organise and lots of other good stuff.
AGL's holiday and exam results to get through.
Portia's love life and her DD's exam results.
Jess budding romance with Bambi Co-op Boy.
Better's quest to wear that blue bridesmaid's dress.
My addiction to posting memes which seems to be welcome on these threads.

LET'S GO...!!!!

Ruby she thinks she'll drop English and do. Maths Economics and Business. To be decided.
We're out for lunch and Gran had embarrassed.us already

MrsTerryPratchett · 18/08/2016 13:13

Popped on to find out the results! Can't believe everyone did so well!

You are all Star

Bettercallsaul1 · 18/08/2016 13:18

You're an early bird, MrsTP! What's the time with you - 5.15am?

Bettercallsaul1 · 18/08/2016 13:19

Another one who can't keep away from this thread!

MrsTerryPratchett · 18/08/2016 13:19

5.19! Urgh

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 18/08/2016 13:19

.portia. What has she done? (braces self)

toad. I thought we had an open pond?

Niloufes · 18/08/2016 13:20

This is getting silly now.

SquidgyRedBall · 18/08/2016 13:21

Hello again everyone!

Well done on all the results - I remember getting mine. Many moons ago

PortiaCastis · 18/08/2016 13:24

My baby is a star Star but my Gran with a drop of Harveys Bristol Cream inside her is tres embarrassing

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 18/08/2016 13:26

Squidge. Me too. Mine were A, C and an E. I comforted myself with the fact that my results were 'ace' (will refuse to share what the 'E' was for, though, and no, it wasn't Home Economics)

SquidgyRedBall · 18/08/2016 13:26

Portia Grinwell it is a time to celebrate!

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 18/08/2016 13:27

Go, PortiaGran!

SquidgyRedBall · 18/08/2016 13:27

Jess mine were extremely worse than that, I still got into uni tho fuck knows how

Bettercallsaul1 · 18/08/2016 13:30

Niloufes If you mean this thread, it was always silly!

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 18/08/2016 13:32

Well done PortiaTeen! Excellent news!

Jess, what's wrong with the courgettes?!?

RubyCav · 18/08/2016 13:32

Niloufes what do you mean its getting silly now ?

MrsTerryPratchett · 18/08/2016 13:34

I got ABBCE. One of the Bs was an AS level. E in maths. Ironic because I was most proud of that (should have failed).

PortiaCastis · 18/08/2016 13:34

The waiter was rather slow bringing the menus so Gran said in a booming voice
" Waiter I am waiting for a menu not the midnight flight to Guatemala "
Now we're waiting for our lunch she's getting irritated so god knows what she'll say next!
Dd thinks she's funny thank god
Ooops I've been told off for bad manners using a phone at the meal table😨

toadgirl · 18/08/2016 13:34

We're out for lunch and Gran had embarrassed.us already

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 18/08/2016 13:37

being. Don't panic. Will continue to buy courgettes. One have a Plan B. Or A. (these results are confusing me)

PortiaCastis · 18/08/2016 13:39

All welcome if Gran carries on we'll be on the local news 😂

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 18/08/2016 13:41

Mrs TP. I remember my GCSE grade B in German - I was most proud of that because my teacher pretty much assured me I'd fail. I still remember something along the lines of 'nehmen die erste strasse links'. Which would be incredibly useful if I were ever a tourist in Germany and asking for directions. Confused

toadgirl · 18/08/2016 13:45

Ah, schooldays!

I got 5 A-Levels when I was 17 - French, German, English, Biology and History. Wanted to do Latin but it didn't fit in with the timetable so had to do Maths A-Level (which I failed spectacularly, as I knew I would). Got my O'Level in Maths and Italian. I did love my languages back then.

Did SFA with any of them though. Grin

I think a lot of success in life is down to drive and ambition, really. Plus, knowing what you want out of life in the first place. All qualities I don't have.

My ambition is to help fill up these threads and to find great memes.
