I was waiting for the price to go down, but there are only three left in the stores near me in my size.

It's a dress and it costs 179gbp.

I have said before, I think it is expensive for what it is. Just I really like it :) And yes, even if I thought it was a good value, I'd still feel guilty for buying a $300 dress. I usually buy from high street...

If you think you'll wear it a lot I'd say buy it. BUT wear it, don't save it for best, get good value out of it!

AND, it a dress, and a top and skirt, so the variables are great for increasing the ASD:wear balance.

If it was something I really really wanted I might feel the guilt but if I could afford it I would probably talk myself out of the guilt and just enjoy it as much as I could.

Actually you're right - I have a tendency to "save" the items I really like so much and just wear them occasionally because I don't want them to wear down. But I should shift this kind of thinking and enjoy items I love as much as I can!

Just get the bloody dress Grin
I think you might be the down under version of my lovely SIL - dithers and scrutinises every decision! Shopping with her is a painful experience - and ultimately ends up with her buying the first thing she has tried on, walked about all day talking about, dithered over it and ultimately caved!
It's just a dress. If you wear it once a week for a year, how much does it work out at on a cost per wear basis?
To my eye, it looks like a £15.99 sundress from New Look but if you're going to wear it a lot the cost is really completely irrelevant if you can afford it.
Get the dress and enjoy it!

CakeNinja - she does sound like me :D But I am impulsive too, when it comes to inexpensive stuff. I'll get it tonight - if I own it, maybe the love will fade away ;)

Do it! I will always regret not buying a print I saw in an art gallery as £400. At the time I could just have afforded it, though I'd have been eating beans for the next 6 months. Now it comes up on EBay for £4-5k and I still want it, but it's way out of my price range now. If you love something, go for it, because you might not get the chance again.

Just ordered :)

Yaaay!

CoolToned · 20/08/2016 09:30

Ok, so I actually got one for 123£. It was the last one! Myer has a 20% off sale, and I have $30 voucher from online surveys.

I'm sending the one I ordered online back :)

Ok so looong story short, I returned those two, and got a size smaller - actually got one for 97£. (25% off sale + loyalty voucher)

Now it seems I don't like it that much anymore.
