I really hate it. Great photo op of my DCs and their friends playing at a trampoline park and some dick head deliberately waved his hand in front of my phone. No battery left now. Prick.

You're right though, it is so damn rude - esp bunny ears behind someone or putting your hand in front of the camera. What is the actual point?!

Equally as bad are people who really want to take a photo for you and then zoom in so much they miss the surroundings and any background of where you actually are. Infuriating.

I have a relative who does this and if pisses me off so much. So many nice pictures with his constipation face stuck in the side of them. Dick. He has been told in no uncertain terms - he's also good at ruining photos in general by pulling a stupid face in them.

It's not really photobombing to shove your hand in front of the camera - that's just rude.

If he'd joined in the photograph, or a funny horse had appeared, or a duck wondered by...that would be photobombing. Putting oneself into the photo for amusement.

Shoving your hand in front of the camera is just stopping a photo being taken. And it's not amusing at all.

DS had a sleepover last night and his friend is moving to Oz on Sat so this is the last time they'll all be together so I'm a bit anyway. It would have been a lovely pic and I'm stupidly angry about it!

It was my Ds's last day at his old school at the end of term, I took my camera in to take pics of him with his friends, his teachers photo bombed EVERY one, The pics are hilarious and bloody great. Ds had no idea till I got them home and showed him on pc

Putting your hand in front of a camera is just rude though. did you know the person? Did you say anything to him? I can not imagine any stranger actually doing that

My dog photobombed me when I was taking a picture. It was so cute, that I have a copy of it on my desk now :)

No I don't know him Fuchs, he was with his young son and clearly thought it was hilarious. I kind of did a huffy 'thanks a lot' and growled but he was off by then anyway. Twat.

To answer your question, yes, it is pretty rude.

It's just as well most of us use digital cameras these days. Would be extra-maddening if it was all rolls of film and expensive developing and you got your snaps back all photo-bombed to hell!
