i've just watched the latest episode on catchup.

Was I seeing things pervy mind or did some of the men look a bit more 'excited' than usual in this episode? Blush
AIBU to think they are really starting to push the boundaries with this program?

And that bit where she more or less jumped on him? wtf was that about?

OP posts:
HawkingsMead · 13/08/2016 12:28

There was one woman who didn't shave her fanjo or her underarms. (On the only episode that I watched, clutches pearls) and she and the man she chose really hit it off - he had an unfortunate elephant tattoo around his penis - (his penis being the trunk obviously).

He cheered when she raised her arms to show her shaved armpits. But then one man did criticise her unshaved foof.

witchywoohoo · 13/08/2016 19:05

I'm sure there was a post on here from a woman who's ex was going on it and wanted permission to show photos/video footage of their kids for the wee blurb bit at the beginning! I wonder if he's been on yet?

IreallyKNOWiamright · 13/08/2016 19:36

Omg..can't belive this. I've never even heard of the show. I thought take me out was bad enough.

HelenaDove · 13/08/2016 19:39

But then one man did criticise her unshaved foof

Yep Very empowering Hmm

fluffychicken · 13/08/2016 20:21

Anyone else having trouble getting the programme to play on channel 4 catch up thingy? When I press play nothing happens...

Funko · 13/08/2016 22:03

Um... The worlds biggest penis is just starting on the channel Really

Wtf? Watching for educational purposes only 🙈

Oldraver · 13/08/2016 22:23

Oh God why did I turn on 'The Worlds Biggest Penis'

redshoeblueshoe · 13/08/2016 22:34

I thought this was going to be about Match Of The Day - yes Lineker is in his boxers Grin

greedygorb · 16/08/2016 11:09

Jesus wept. I caught this last night. There was a lesbian lady. The first person she discarded was a woman with pubic hair because she said if she saw that she would think she was scary. FFS. Scary isn't pubic hair it's going on the most ridiculous TV show ever. They also said only 3% of heterosexual women had a full bush. Really! So now I'm no longer a normal woman just some sort of pubic hair fetishist.

AmyC86 · 24/08/2016 23:12

Seriously what is this programme!!!!! Imagine going to work after the showing Shock

Again, can't believe how many people have hairless fanjo's!!!!

TytoAlba · 25/08/2016 01:58

It's either hairless fanjos all round (and tbh most of the men too have hairless or very trimmed tackle) is the norm or it's what the producers are selecting for the programme. That aside, what I find most fascinating is the number of people who are not selected who say that appearing naked on tv has been "empowering", a "watershed moment" that they have enjoyed so much they would do it again.

Italiangreyhound · 25/08/2016 02:31

I found that programme utter inappropriate shit. BUT I expect I will be called a prude. I miss Mary Whitehouse! (Genuinely)

Nocabbageinmyeye · 25/08/2016 03:52

I've only seen one episode, have these people no families? They must be orphans alone in the world, like surely you just wouldn't do it to your parents, how would you even explain it to them Blush

WalrusGumboot · 25/08/2016 04:10

I'm sure the number of hairless fanjos is more representative of the folk who would appear on a show such as this, rather than the population as a whole. The 3% is clearly bullshit.

GeneralBobbit · 25/08/2016 04:17

There's no way that 3% thing is true. I'd imagine very few elderly women shave their bush.

DecaffCoffeeAndRollupsPlease · 25/08/2016 04:36

only 3%

No surely not, can't be true, can it? Confused

CoolToned · 25/08/2016 06:35

Watching this on youtube because of this thread.

IneedAdinosaurNickname · 25/08/2016 06:47

Where did they get the 3% from? I've never taken part in a survey. 3% of who exactly? Women who applied for the show maybe.

Anyway. I've been in a new relationship for about 6 months. When dp and I first discussed body hair (as you do) he said that he doesn't like hairy women and has never been with one. His choice but I told him I don't shave my fanjo and won't unless I decide to. He's fine with that but after watching a bit of this the other day said to me "see I told you you're the only woman who doesn't shave" Hmm I told him I like to be different Grin

Rainatnight · 25/08/2016 07:03

I'm so glad I found this thread and that it's not just me. I ended up watching one episode and thought, 'is this what we do now? Is this ok? Showing fannies on telly in a dating programme??' And thought I was being pearl clutching so I'm glad I'm not alone.

It's bonkers and I don't know why on earth anyone would do if. I hate the judginess about pubic hair.

ProfessorPreciseaBug · 25/08/2016 07:36

Regarding 3%, someone started a thread asking the question... do you?

Most replies were a full bush or trimmed..
Very few answered as fully shaved..

On the subject, the womens cycling team were aparently told to stop waxing or shaving as it contributes to saddle sores.... Mind you top cyclists do spend an increadible amount of time sat on a bike..

calli335 · 25/08/2016 07:53

I can't believe what I'm seeing with this programme. Going back to EB though - I always remember one where the guy worked in a bar and his colleagues kept saying that they could smell shit. Turns out he wasn't wiping his arse properly so Christian advised him to review his wiping technique Blush I mean - why would you be happy for everyone to know that!?

Roussette · 25/08/2016 07:56

I just find it cringeworthy. The women when picking are trying to put themselves across as all coooool and clever and out there and empowered when in fact, to me, they are just a bit sad and daft and they will regret it in years to come, they honestly will. You change as the years roll by and I've done some pretty ridiculous stuff in my life and can now (being old) cringe somewhat, but what I did was nowhere on the same level as this!

The men just seem pervy.

As for the full hairless look, I just honestly don't like it. I don't like the way it looks prepubescent, I wish this fashion would change. It's only come about because of porn. I think trimmed up and tidy is nice, fully shaved is just yuk.

EastMidsMummy · 25/08/2016 08:02

The sort of people who self-select to appear naked on network TV and get judged on their appearance are not a representative selection of the population. It's unlikely that the %age of tats, shaving or piercings is very representative of the wider population, even from the particular age demographic selecte.

greedygorb · 27/08/2016 09:31

I was talking about this to some friends the other night when we were out for a drink and one of them's a GP. She says she doesn't wax anymore because she's seen all sorts of horrible skin stuff from women doing this- rashes, infections and all sorts. Put me right off my Babycham it did.

thepenguinsrock · 27/08/2016 09:40

Hubby was intrigued after hearing about it at work so we gave it a go. I can honestly say I was in fits of giggles with tears and everything watching those winkles waggling all over the place 😂 i discovered i'm quite a child.
I was surprised at how many hairless men there was, I've dated one gym freak who shaved everything off and it was horrible. So prickly all over 😯
And fanjo wize I'm all up for a tidy bush but the full works removed just seems to much like little girl IMO.
Not for everyone but it's worth a watch for the laugh factor ☺
