Aibu I am shaving my head for a charity event and my kids are saying I am going to be an embarrassment at school pick up time. They are almost 10 and 7 so should I hold off on the shave or ignore them.

Or get a wig?

Noonesfool · 11/08/2016 18:05

Hat. Headscarf. Wig.

Part of the conversation you can have with the kids is that people who have cancer often don't have a choice about losing their hair....assuming you're doing the big shave thing?

Parents are supposed to be embarrassing and whilst we all put our Dc first, IMHO, it's best if not everything is about them.

It's for the little princess trust for kids who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other medical treatment they give out real hair wigs to them
