To wonder what people's 'hobbies' are?

People are always posting about their/dh's etc mysterious hobbies on aibu, am I the only one who always wonders what they are? I seem to picture really exciting things when it's probably just train spotting or something (which I'm sure is exciting for some people!).

You all seem to have more interesting hobbies than me! It's also nice to have an idea of some of these mysterious hobbies people always post about, never saying what they are

In my head I do so much

I like doing lots of different things but don't have the dedication to do anything regularly. Toddler goes to bed and I'm watching shows. It feels a bit embarrassing and lazy to list that as a hobby though, but I enjoy it!

Mine are Xbox/gaming, comics, cartoons and marvel movies I'm not actually a teenager

Mumsnet, chocolate, reading in bed (with chocolate), looking online for nothing in particular - wasting hours when I should be doing something more constructive

Horses and mountains, both separately & combined

LARPing, gaming, tabletop role-playing, photography, Lego, history ....ect

Running and reading for me ( not at the same time!).
Cycling, golf and football for DH.
DS1 plays football and DS2 basketball, neither at a high level, local league teams only. They like their Xboxes too!

Oh yeah gaming! So that's watching shows and gaming, no wonder my arse is huge.

Mine is going online somewhere like John Lewis and putting all sorts of things in the basket (that I cannot afford but would like) and then racing towards the checkout and seeing how quickly I can empty it before I eventually pay for Jack shit. I can spend hours doing this at all different stores and it never gets boring. Depressing yes but never boring.

Lrp; board games; card games; cosplay; heritage railways (preservation, signalling and riding around a lot); sewing; knitting; green laning.

I'm scared of balls coming towards me

My hobbies are yoga and macrame. And knitting my own yoghurt obviously

Not that I have any bloody time to do them anymore

Mine is sewing. It used to be walking or running but due to health issues I needed a hobby that was less physical. I found that I absolutely love sewing.

Dp is obsessed with the gym, so if I were to mysteriously mention his hobby that was passing me off, it's the gym.

DH does shooting on competitive level as hobby.

Cooking, reading and writing poetry, live music and pub quizzes. I'm sure it's not that interesting but that's how I spend my weekends!

Indoor climbing, swimming, reading.

DH plays hockey.

We walk together when we have time.

I can't understand all this "blah blah blah can't say any more or it will out me" shite. Unless the hobby is dressing up as Goebbels for Diwali, I can't imagine that many people would care who you are.

Walking - 5k mon-fri
Jogging-5k occasionally

My recent hobby is painting my old shite pine furniture with fancy chalky paint.

My next project is tiling my coffee table & I'll paint the legs with my fancy chalk paint.

my DH's hobby consists of two things: beer and tv.

Knitting, crochet, sewing
Doing jigsaws
Going to gym and swimming

I knit/crochet
The eldest plays a brass instrument/is in 6 bands
The middle one memorises facts
The small one has wobblers at international standard

Pub Crawls and box sets (usually in that order). Oh and thinking about going to the gym!
