To think that she's cheating?

She's out all night.

Sometimes she comes home for dinner, sometimes not. She turns her nose up at the food on offer.

She is rude to visitors and completely ignored the friendly amazon delivery man.

She often smells of someone else's perfume.

She's 'misplaced' her collar.

She used to be so affectionate.

This new attitude of hers all started after we took her to the vet last week.

She's cheating on us with another family, isn't she?

It is, but it's quite an old picture. She's had a new flea collar since then. It's reflective with pictures of fish skeletons on it - very pretty. I can't believe she's lost it.

We're the 'other family'. Same colour cat as yours OP but a boy and much shorter hair. He's lost his collar too and has taken to sleeping on my bed and eating my cat's food. My cat is openly complicit with cheating cat's behaviour, they play together, chase and wrestle all over the back yard. He's not even discouraged by my young childrens' 'enthusiasm' for him when they see him.

Grey cats are gorgeous.

Is she gentle and quite self-contained? The greys I have known have all been like this.

mypropertea · 06/08/2016 16:31

Sorry to be one of those people but... Please cut of the excess after the buckle so it is only 1.5" long, less chance of it getting caught on stuff, and her managing to remove it.

mypropertea · 06/08/2016 16:32

P.s. She is very beautiful

FasterThanASnakeAndAMongoose · 06/08/2016 16:39

Thanks all! You're right mypropertea, the excess was too long. It had come untucked but trimming it would have made more sense!

She's a lovely natured little thing. She's very tolerant of children (we have 2 toddlers) and has always been very gentle and affectionate with them.

She was a rescue kitten from the most multi coloured litter I've ever seen.

Even as a very young cat she was in charge of the other local felines.

Argh I can't do tough love, even though she's being such a grump Grin

I'll be shocked if its only one other household........

PageStillNotFound404 · 06/08/2016 16:44

NextDoorCat would love to cheat on her family with us, but FeistyCat won't allow it. FatCat couldn't give a shit but what FeistyCat miaows goes, so...sorry, NextDoorCat.

Is her name Sid?

TheDevilMadeMeDoIt · 06/08/2016 16:58

She went on Plenty of Fish and it turned her head.

Helmetbymidnight · 06/08/2016 16:59

You should have seen her on guardian sole mates.

milliemolliemou · 06/08/2016 16:59

Six Dinner Sid anyone? Eighties children's book. He was a seriously serious cheater.

FasterThanASnakeAndAMongoose · 06/08/2016 17:04

Six dinner Sid! Dd loves that book!

It's the betrayal of it all, which is of course where Sid went wrong.

If she just sat us down, paws on the table and told us the truth, nobody would mind Wink

You need to get all your ducks in a row before you confront her Smile

Mine left me for OW who lived up the road

I feel for you OP

Rubies12345 · 06/08/2016 17:38

Try dreamies.

Penfold007 · 06/08/2016 18:00

Pengirl hates the indignity of a trip to the vet and can sulk for ages. A tin of pilchards in tomato sauce seems to help

Katedotness1963 · 06/08/2016 18:15

Gorgeous cat! What lovely colouring.

toadgirl · 07/08/2016 11:19

If she just sat us down, paws on the table and told us the truth, nobody would mind

It's the expecting you to read her mind. Ruins a lot of relationships.
