DS4 loves wandering off, way more than other DC. Am feeling unnerved after yet another incident of him getting lost. Luckily he was handed into a customer services area. He's never been lost for more than a couple of minutes but it's the worst feeling in the world. Please don't berate me for not constantly having hold of him - I know that's the ideal solution.

Just wondering whether to buy some kind of gps tracker device I can attach to him. Is that insane? Has anyone tried one?

At 4 he should always be kept in sight and at arms reach or hand held when out and about in busy places, you are the best GPS tracker he's got.

Mmmmm yes I'm hearing you ladies. I haven't used his reins backpack for a year or so but I will dig it out again. Off on hols on Monday, big airport, big stress! It is odd how he has zero fear of being away, zero shyness with strangers. I once lost sight of him age 3 in a soft play, looked all over the play structure, eventually found him on another table where he'd asked a man to read him a story. Man was doing so!

It's lovely that he's so confident- and all the more reason to not use on a technological back up.
Have a lovely holiday!
