Just got one of these. Been using it a week now and it's magic. Binned all the loo brushes and seriously thinking of ordering a second one! I promise I don't work for the company I just think this is great.

Loogun is a name too!

I put it into Facebook and a load of Looguns came up!

TalcAndTurnips · 03/08/2016 13:48

If you have to leg it to avoid the shit-particle splashback (great name for a band) - would that be known as Loogun's Run.

As my username suggests I don't have any problems with loo brushes but the loogun has me interested until I realised that it would consume a lot of batteries. Now the poster up thread who has come up with the nerf gun alternative - bloody genius.

Shizzlestix · 03/08/2016 15:02

Gave up when the bloke in the video bumbled on for ages before showing how the blasted thing works. CBA.

BastardDM - I think they would definitely be an Indie band. John Peel would have played them on his show.

Highest chart position: 145 - with their single Rim Block Blues

They are credited also on the official soundtrack of U-Bend it Like Beckham

I saw a housekeeping article about "when you should clean" various parts of the house. It said - toilet once a week.
They are having a laugh surely.

Aw good for you for coming on and addressing questions. Wish you all the best with the business venture!

GloveBug · 06/08/2016 00:48

I hate toilet brushes. Might have to give this a go. Have you got a link to the 2 minute video, I can't find it

Whatthefucknameisntalreadytake · 06/08/2016 00:58

I have no interest in the product but I do think calans response is lovely. And well done for inventing something and getting it to market, that can't be easy.

Weedles · 06/08/2016 01:45

It HUGE! Confused It's simply ginormous.

At least a loo brush can be small and tucked away. Not that I've ever had the need for a loo brush despite living in a 6 person household.

To think I have solved the Mumsnet loo brush debate?
apatheticfallacy · 06/08/2016 02:06

calan's response is a good example of good PR Smile and it's nice to see businesses interacting directly with a potential userbase. Am I correct in presuming that by omission by suspicion is correct then? It doesn't clean under the rim? Because to be honest thats where the dirt hides and a flush and maybe a little squirt of 50p a bottle bleach takes care of the 'daily cleaning' ie. When there's visible mess which is not every day to say the least. So it seems an expensive product that would maybe take care of the twice weekly freshen up but wouldn't tackle the deeper cleaning without scrubbing with something... Maybe some kind of scrubbing brush designed for the purpose that can be found for a couple of who'd in the supermarket?

I just don't see what benefit this product really provides. If it really did all the loo cleaning in an hygienic efficient environmentally friendly way then great! I'd buy it! But to make the occasional mark a little more huge if to clean and still need the full scrub? At that price? I just don't get it.

eternalopt · 06/08/2016 02:23

If nothing else, I'm loving the battery guide on their website! Now I know what brands not to waste money on!

If calan is still out there, how does it not spray water back at you if you're cleaning stuff below water line?

eternalopt · 06/08/2016 02:26

Ps - pmsl at the awkwardness of
"Fuck off loogun"
"Hello, I'm the inventor of loogun"

VioletBam · 06/08/2016 05:56

Blush That was me,

Sorry Loogun! Well done by the way for getting this off the ground.

StealthPolarBear · 06/08/2016 06:26

" Also, anything with "gun" in its name has the potential for my kids to turn it into a weapon."

That was my first thought. Followed by a worrying conversation with someone (teacher?) Where they say they've been playing with the toilet cleaner
