buying random bedding

Firstly this is light hearted, before people start getting hot under the collar.

In town with dh. I noticed bedding with a unicorn/pegasus type horse and I buy it. We do have lots of bedding but I needed this in my life. Dh thinks I was unreasonable as we have lots of bedding. I say unicorn / pegasus horse trumps needs as I wanted it! I have also said he can retire an old set. Aibu to buy something odd just because I want it?

hmm, not My taste but the idea of buying a duvet cover is perfectly fine.

This is the way I live my life, YADNBU
Bedding is one of those things where I never think enough's enough like mugs and cushions. DP has told me he has had enough of the cushions but I will not be stopped!

agree with the bedding and the mugs,
sometimes, you just have a Whim, that you Need new bedding, new mugs.

Oh... My 80 year old dh thinks the unicorn set is lovely. A bit of fantasy makes the world go round...reality can be bloody miserable sometimes.

I am a maniac when it comes to cushions. Currently have seven decorative cushions on our double bed. I love it!

Oh god I've never looked at the George homeware before but I've seen loads of cushions stuff I want on that website.

I love this for DS's bedroom - he only has about 3 cushions. And he has a bit of a fox theme going on at the moment

I go mad for white or gold brocade bed linen and we have a discount outlet here so I can sometimes pick up beautiful pillow cases for under a fiver. You cannot have enough in my view. If (when?) my Euro lottery comes up I am employing a housekeeper to change my crisp white bedding every day

A couple of Christmasses ago I gave my brother this duvet set as a present. He lives it. So YANBU.

Yadnbu to buy something just because you like it, but personally i think the unicorn duvet looks a bit naff. But each to their own.
