When did you last clean your fridge?

I mean a take everything out and wash all the shelves etc type of clean? I've just done mine and am ashamed to say that I actually can't remember the last time I did it previously, it was certainly months ago. Most of what we eat is in there and I feel rather disgusted with myself. Am I alone in being a fridge minger?

Never. My DH does it and does it fairly regularly.

Just done it this morning
It's been about 2/3months since last time and it was a bit gross but I don't feel too bad about it. All the food in there is covered and doesn't touch any surfaces and I do regularly chuck out the floppy veg.
We're all still alive anyway!

Properly...twice a year just before my parents come to stay My poor deluded mother must think it's that way all year round.

Other than that, an occasional once-over with some baby wipes.

I did once find a startled scorpion in the veg drawer so slammed it shut and didn't open it again for a week

I did it on Friday. It's lovely!

My clean freak mum puts folded kitchen paper in the bottom of the shelves to soak up the inevitable milky leaks etc. I tried it but it's not that helpful if you leave the paper in there for weeks and that ends up just as hungry as your shelves would have been

i clean the shelves and take them out and inside of the door once a week. the bottom draw where the vegtables go gets cleaned twice a week.

Every week, there's barely anything in the fridge so it makes life easier!

I do it about once a month.

Last Thursday.

I clean mine fully once a month, inside and out.

Wipe down once a week before the big food shop.

Any spills get cleaned up between that.

Last week. Those bags of mozzarella in water? Yep. They explode if they're beyond the due date and hidden behind something

I clean my fortnightly

When I remember - every month or two my freezer can't take anymore though. I've defrosted it once in the three years we've lived here and the top compartment is just a block of ice. My answer? I bought another freezer which I will also probably never clear out

I haven't done mine for at least 6 months which is probably really horrible isn't it? We had a spilled juice incident just now though so I am having to do it today. I probably would have just done the bits I had to if I hadn't seen this thread though .
