What happened to the thread from posters whose 17 year old was friends with 20 year old?

I had a look at that this morning, thought it was such a load of old piffle. I didn't post on it. Did the OP ever come back to it? It seemed a bit of a "wind em up and watch em" type thread.

I reported the thread to MN because the poster was unwell. I don't know what their response was because I have forgotten my email password.

They didn't put a reason for deletion but maybe that's understandable if the poster is unwell.

It was a PBP. Not harmless IMO, I wonder what sort of stuff the original ban(s) were for.

I guessed the poster was a troll when I read the message. Might be a guy having a joke - pretending to be a mother and stirring things up.

I think this happens more than we are aware of on these forums.

I'm not very IT-minded, but do they ban by IP address? If they did, I believe that would stop banned posters returning?
