So the last few Friday's DH has just disappeared to the pub without so much as a by your leave! All I ask is a phone call to say I'm going out for a few! How do I find out where he is ? I have to call him cos he's not home!

AIBU to be fecked off! You know there are nights I would love to just not come home! Relinquish my parental responsibilities cos I know someone else will be there to cover! But do I ever get to?

Text him about four saying you're going to the pub at x o'clock so he will have to get home. Just don't give him a choice.

Shizzlestix · 29/07/2016 22:00

Have you broached this with him yet? I'd be sodding furious.

Yanbu
Tomorrow morning go out for the day from 9am and don't tell him that you are going or when you'll be back. He clearly thinks only you are responsible for children so you need to show him he's wrong.

Yanbu, take yourself to a spa tomorrow for the day & let him know you'll be back later. Preferably communicating via a note. The entitled fucker.

Crunchymum · 29/07/2016 22:12

Do you have kids? Do you live together?

I can't think of any excusable reason he would be so selfish in all honesty?

Crunchymum · 29/07/2016 22:12

Is it just a few? What time has he been getting home and whathe staye has he been in?

NapQueen · 29/07/2016 22:14

Donyou go out to work? Do the same! If not on a day he comes home straight from work just walk out the door.

Doinmummy · 29/07/2016 22:15

Bollocks to that . He's a married man and a father. He's got his priorities wrong .

I second going out early tomorrow , don't tell him where and don't answer your phone .

When he asks where you have been , tell him you've been trying to decide whether it's worth staying married to him .

He needs to wake up to a note saying you're out for the day...

It's not so much the going to the pub ( although it's not on at all) that I see as the main problem but his attitude towards you .
