...my friend had my kids plus her 2 kids for the kids - ages of kids: 8, 7, 6 and 3.

Eldest has told me they were left home alone for 10 mins while friend went to get McDonalds. Only for 10 minutes. But still, I don't leave my DC alone so not sure how I feel about the fact that my friend did this (mine are 7 and 6)..

That's too young I think - especially when one is only 3.

NickNacks · 28/07/2016 20:39

What's the question? If you dont like it just tell her not to do it again?!

c3pu · 28/07/2016 20:39

Don't leave a 3 year old unattended. Very unwise move. No way is an 8 year old able to supervise a 3 year old.

I'd be very unhappy to hear about this.

Just trying to get a feel for people's thoughts on it nicknack. Sorry if my post wasn't to the point enough. I have PTSD and struggle to make sense some of the time.

How close are you to her?. Can you talk to her and explain that this is not on?

I'd have SS on her like a shot for getting bloody McDonald's in the first place.

Would have been better off in the car, strapped in. In the house there are a lot more risks for unattended children, and much higher risk of accident and injury.

......So the 8yr old will take full responsibility if something happens!!
