Loads more I'm sure when I think about it, am such a misery!

Atlas15 · 27/07/2016 15:29

Round herer people call shop keepers and staff "boss-man".
"Yo boss-man! How much is this?"

Gottagetmoving · 27/07/2016 15:33

YANBU

One of me exes relatives does this on Facebook...calls his brother, Bruv, his sister Sis and refer to each other's families by their surnames, like, 'Hope the Browns are all ok' or ' About time the Smiths and the Browns got together again'

Makes me shudder.

Piemernator · 27/07/2016 15:34

One of my American mates says whaddup pie my main homegirl, another says how you doing there mam.

I am one of six and five of us are girls we always say sis number whatever is relevant.

I'm part of a clan on Xbox so have clan mates.

BigFatGoalie · 27/07/2016 15:37

Mama bear!
Also when people type LOL and add ha ha ha to everything.

Alohamora · 27/07/2016 15:41

Coco that made me laugh! Pilgrims Grin. A fan of Deal or No Deal maybe?

badtime · 27/07/2016 15:52

WhooooAmI, how do you know she is saying 'hunni', not 'honey'?
Or does that not make a difference to you?

I know a lot of older women who would never dream of 'hunning' still call people 'honey'.

ReginaBlitz · 28/07/2016 08:35

I've just thought adding extra letters to words makes me cringe.

mummytofourbabys · 28/07/2016 09:05

There's always one GrinGrin

Well that's unfortunate as that just so happens to be what I've done in this thread.
I apologise if myyyyy extra letters have offended you. :)

I'm sure youuuu won't lose any sleep over it though

My sister used to comment on anything I posted on FB with 'u ok sis'; my sister is no longer my friend on FB

Laquila · 28/07/2016 09:11

Coco were you on a guided tour of Lourdes?? If not, then that's ridiculous!

Totally agree with the pp who said that "cuz" seems to be used on FB to make a point (even if it's a very old word). It's weird.

mummytofourbabys · 28/07/2016 09:22

Did u delete her because of that? Made me giggle

It definitely wasnt a religious retreat, but a jail Hmm

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 28/07/2016 09:27

The term 'friendship group' makes me a little bit sick in my mouth.

Saying ' a little bit sick in my mouth' is far worse than ' friendship group' Wink

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 28/07/2016 09:29

The adding letters to words thing - I remember from about 6 years ago, especially on Facebook, when peoplee usedd too typee wordss likee thiss andd itt wass reallyy fuckingg ridiculouss andd usedd too givee mee thee ragee.

XP, who wasn't particularly bright, said it made words look better. Fuckingg idiott.

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 28/07/2016 09:37

It wasn't her only FB crime. She also posted tat for sale saying 'want gone', did dramatic status updates then replied to everybody with 'I'll inbox ya hun', and called people who weren't related to her in any way sis or cuz. She's the living embodiment of every FB idiot cliche

TheRealKimmySchmidt63 · 28/07/2016 09:42

Hooserice - your dad wins

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 28/07/2016 09:54

She also posted tat for sale saying 'want gone'

Sounds like a toddler Grin

mummytofourbabys · 28/07/2016 10:03

Oh dear take it you don't get on well then

Sounds like me and my sister. Families eh? Grin

Dp has called me babe for 14 years - I'm not sure he even knows my real name Grin

Is cuz okay if you're actually cousins? My cousin calls me Cuz, I quite like it!

Hubby or hubster makes me irrationally rageful.

YvaineStormhold · 28/07/2016 10:31

Someone on my FB who is in her forties used the phrase "famalam" the other week.

I can't stop thinking about it Sad

Ellybellyboo · 28/07/2016 10:37

I unfollowed my SiL on Facebook for 'famalam'

Also hate

Hun
Hubby
Princess/lil'man, etc

The cuz thing - DD has her cousin on Facebook, she constantly cuz-s DD as a kind of one-up-man-ship. As in, you may be her best friend, but I'm her cousin

GwendolynPost · 28/07/2016 10:38

Grown women referring to each other as 'bestie'.

DD1 has a 'squad' but she's 16 so I'll let it slide.
