FlyingElbows · 27/07/2016 12:05

"Closer" by Nine Inch Nails. Not everyone's cup of tea but I love it.

hangingoutattheendofmywick · 27/07/2016 12:12

"Yes" by Mcalmont and Butler is still my all time fave for any break up or sticking two fingers up at anyone.

"Alright" by Cast to make you feel better any morning

You oughta know by Alanis Morisette

hedonism by skunkansie

if it makes you happy by Cheryl Crow (probably spelt name wrong)

Candy by Paulo Nutini (wait till the END .... its so good at the end)

I know that's more than one. off to make a feel good sound track now!!

One Day Like This by Elbow

Pitch Perfect soundtrack is also good for a little family acapella on long car journeys. Our DCs are almost as smug as those children in Stepbrothers singing Sweet Child of Mine.

telesoftware · 27/07/2016 12:20

Liking the new New Order song "People On The High Line" - got a 90s feelgood vibe about it.

On the flipside - "Decades" by Joy Division. Downbeat, beautiful and poignant.

Chic - Everybody Dance
Smokey Robinson - Tracks Of My Tears

EdmundCleverClogs · 27/07/2016 12:21

Tower of Song (Tom Jones), is quite sad but lovely.

Here's To Us (Halestorm), a bit sweary, but an awesome 'yeah things can get bad, but we get through it' song.

Anything by Fallout Boy or Bowling For Soup!

The Brothers Johnston - Stomp

Let's Go Crazy by Prince for when I need to get over something... onwards and upwards type of thing.

Backingvocals · 27/07/2016 12:23

La Javanaise by Serge Gainsbourg for when you are feeling French Smile

EdmundCleverClogs · 27/07/2016 12:23

Her Words Destroyed My Planet (Motion City Soundtrack), also a great song to sing/dance around to - even if the lead singer looks like Leonard from Big Bang Theory.
