I actually fell over a pothole some years ago and smashed my knee in (disclaimer, no I'm NOT the lady in the paper! Grin ). I was crossing the road with the kids on the school run and as I stepped out into the road, your instinct is to put your hands out to break the fall but I was holding the DCs hand so the knee took the weight of my fall. I didn't see the pothole and went flying - I remember trying my hardest not to swear in front of the DCs as it hurt like hell for ages. Still having to have physio on it now etc but I've never been bandaged up like that lady in the photo and my injury sounds very similar re the ligament damage. Also didn't seek compo - just some good painkillers! And those are some brilliant daily mail sad faces!

KittensandKnitting · 25/07/2016 19:13

I like it and I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned but I can't stop reading it when she goes on a massive rant and someone responds

You tell em

I nearly wet myself Grin

LauraLoz13 · 25/07/2016 19:19

Thank you for bringing this into my life.

AcrossthePond55 · 25/07/2016 19:25

I'm PMSL at the 'synonym/pseudonym/two ways to spell it' comment.

GaryGilmoresEyes · 25/07/2016 19:33

I damaged my ligaments and muscles badly in my leg last year. I didn't get a bandage! Who do I complain too?WinkGrin

falange · 25/07/2016 19:39

It's hilarious. Like something out of the daily mash.

bumbleymummy · 25/07/2016 19:44

AcrossthePond, yes, 'synonym' instead of 'pseudonym' and I think 'sudonym' further down as well!

bumbleymummy · 25/07/2016 19:46

Just saw the 'two ways to spell it' comment. That was just added today. Brilliant Grin

Jubaloo442 · 25/07/2016 19:47

This is hilarious. The school really has enough on its plate - they got flooded out a few weeks ago and had to move everything to a new site, and co-ordinate moving children and their teachers to different schools so they wouldn't miss out. Did she honestly injure EVERY ligament in her leg? She shouldn't have been in the car park hence the school is not at fault. 'Collectors' had been asked not to go into the car park. It's shameful that she's trying to take advantage at a time where the school is really struggling.

snowgirl29 · 25/07/2016 19:55

GaryGilmoresEyes did you have the same physio I had? I just got some funky tape criss crossed across my kneecap to hold it in place for a week once. I want a bandage too! Wink

BeJayKayven · 25/07/2016 20:00

"Two ways of spelling it"

goes to change pants

Classics!!!

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 25/07/2016 20:05

Moment from the FB page

I wouldn't want to remove the six miles of bandages that she has wrapped around her leg. It might invoke the mummy's curse.

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 25/07/2016 20:06

Moment = comment

Doggity · 25/07/2016 20:08

I'm PMSL at the 'synonym/pseudonym/two ways to spell it' comment

Me too 😂😂😂

AcrossthePond55 · 25/07/2016 20:48

And can't you just hear the superior tone of 'voice' as she typed that response.

How many ways are there to spell 'illiterate'. And is 'ignorant' a synonym for it?

Still PSML

BeJayKayven · 25/07/2016 21:30

Thanks Nigella 👍

Mycatsabastard · 25/07/2016 21:36

That is just superb!!!

I have now liked the Angry people page and will spend the rest of the evening reading it.

I wonder if bandage woman has ever been on Jezza. Bet she has!

Tessabelle74 · 25/07/2016 23:14

I see a claim for compensation coming and an application for sickness benefits but I'm just a sceptical bi#ch!

Rainbow · 25/07/2016 23:35

A few years ago, I fell out of a door (stone cold sober embarrasingly) and did the ligaments in my leg. I was given a plastic boot not a bandage. If she was told to.stay out then why didn't she? No headteacher would laugh in her face. Explains it's her fault for not reading the signs but not laugh . Smacks of components scam. Made my day reading it tho 😂😂😂

Rainbow · 26/07/2016 09:39

Smacks of compensation claim even 😂😂😂

EyeRollChampion · 26/07/2016 10:13

Thanks Nigella! Wine

And thanks OP for the giggles. This has made my morning Grin

LemonRedwood · 26/07/2016 10:19

Doggity This is exactly why I don't miss teaching living in Watford!

Excellent entertainment from afar though.

genericusername1 · 26/07/2016 10:28
