That's given me a good laugh, love the comments Grin

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 24/07/2016 16:00

I'd say scammer with a fake bandage found out too Grin

V funny. Wish my local paper was that interesting...

Mcchickenbb41 · 24/07/2016 16:03

Having finished reading it all yet just got to the comment where the 'victim' tells another mum from the school the sun obviously shines UP her bum. This is chav gold !!!

EdmundCleverClogs · 24/07/2016 16:04

I also saw this on the Angry Local People page on FB. It would be a lot funnier if you knew they weren't full time compo-chasers. What's with that bandage job as well? Almost looks like it was a home job, rather than A+E.....

AnecdotalEvidence · 24/07/2016 16:07

OMG, that bandage!
It looks like a child has done it!

Comments are hilarious.

LuluJakey1 · 24/07/2016 16:09

I love the camouflage outfit with the sequinned shoes. Grin
And the bandage!

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/07/2016 16:12

That bandage is over the top, no rgn is going to bandage like that for an ankle injury.

Ligaments are only around joints and are tiny, if it's damaged to the ankle then the next set are in the knee. So only the ankle needs compression if it isn't bad enough to need a cast.

SnipSnipMrBurgess · 24/07/2016 16:14

Someone in the comments compared it all to Uncle Albert in Only fools and horses trying to get a bit of compo from falling in all the cellars ! Grin

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 24/07/2016 16:17

I need to stop readings these comments now! The Pothole "she kicked me and damaged my side - who can I sue?" Grin

user1468138738 · 24/07/2016 16:18

I live near loads of people like this. These are the people you're slated and called a snob on here when you hope they wont be at Butlins with you. state of that carpet

Flowerfae · 24/07/2016 16:19

Haven't even read it yet but those faces are classic :D

Mcchickenbb41 · 24/07/2016 16:24

Loved the comment ' perhaps you can't see its your daughter as she's so well camouflaged Grin

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 24/07/2016 16:29

user 14681etc - that was my first thought too, don't they own a hoover??

EdmundCleverClogs · 24/07/2016 16:30

HeartsTrumpDiamonds, a Hoover is probably a health and safety hazard for the poor woman....

user1468138738 · 24/07/2016 16:32

The wires innit.

Theimpossiblegirl · 24/07/2016 16:32

There is a FB page called angry people in local newspapers? That could be my new favourite after Overheard in Waitrose.

ThoraGruntwhistle · 24/07/2016 16:33

I do love a comments section that degenerates into a personal slanging match. Surely nobody really deliberately falls down holes to get compensation do they? I thought such tales were made up, like people running at loose grapes in supermarkets to try and slip and claim money.

user1468138738 · 24/07/2016 16:39

Surely nobody really deliberately falls down holes to get compensation do they?

I had a pal worked in insurance. Yes, yes they do. They also get horrific ptsd from being in a stationary car and having another car scrape into it when parking.

multivac · 24/07/2016 16:44

"its obvious that you never really took to our state education system, so don't expect me to educate you now. I think that ship has sailed. But if you are to come on here using a Synonym, ( that means a false name, love)..."

Oh dear. I feel a bit grubby after reading all that... Sad

ThoraGruntwhistle · 24/07/2016 16:46

Wow, what dreadful people then. I wouldn't want to deliberately injure myself but that bandage is definitely questionable.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 24/07/2016 16:49

I bet the Watford Observer is all confused about why they have had thousands more hits than normal on their website this weekend Grin

AlfrescoBalconyWanker · 24/07/2016 16:51

There's a whole FB page: www.facebook.com/angrypeopleinlocalnewspapers/

CakeNinja · 24/07/2016 16:55

Absolutely howling at "can cross Roomba off the list of possibilities" Grin

MintyChapstick · 24/07/2016 16:57

I can't believe there is a Facebook group dedicated to this kind off thing and didn't know about it! My local paper is always full of this nonsense, a real favourite seems to be parents complaining about their kids not getting a school dinner beacuse they've not paid up. Well there's a very simple solution to that isn't there? Instead of going to the local rag and doing you're best Daily Mail sad face you could always you know, actually pay what you owe.

It's not rocket science, these people are just on the take and want something for nothing all the fucking time.

HandsomeGroomGiveHerRoom · 24/07/2016 16:57

This is fantastic Grin
