Party lunchboxes?

Last minute party panic as I've not done party bags yet, was wondering about packing the food in little lunch boxes from the pound shop (think Minions/Disney/whatever) and that (along with a bit of cake and a book or something small) being the "party bag"? Worried it's a naff idea and people might not realise they're for taking home though?!
Would you think that was naff at a 4yr olds party?

I think that's a great idea! Just let people know it's for taking home.

I'm confused, why can't they eat the food at the party? Book and cake is fine for the party bag.

Sounds great. But I might put the party food in them first, write the child's name on them, then gather them in to refil with party favours rather than give the lit out when you want them to be eating.

Sorry - meant to say with party food in them - in the way people do with the cardboard ones....

NattyTile - names and then putting a few bits in on the way out are great ideas thanks :)
