Daddy won't let dd have her hair cut

She's 10 and has long hair to her bum, she wants it cut into a bob but she's worried because exh has told her via text he'll 'go mental' if she has it cut Grr need to vent he pisses me off so much, trying to be objective, am I pissed off just because he's an ex? Because he's teaching her long hair is attractive??

OP - what about getting your daughter to consider donating her hair when she does get it bobbed; make something nice out of this situation that she's been made to feel bad about?

At 15 (ino it's not the same age) but I cut my beautiful long hair into a bob I'm 20 it's still not grown and I hate hate hate it! I've told my fiancé I don't care what he says I won't allow my daughter to chop her hair. I'd suggest if she wants to cut her locks get her a wig of eBay and ask her to wear it for abit and see how she feels. If she does really like it tell your ex that she is happy so she is getting it done. Ino it's sounds ridiculous but getting my long gorgeous hair cut was the worst thing I've ever done... makes me well up thinking about it..haha

It's so creepy. It's 9 times out of 10 dads who have an issue with their daughter's having short hair. I don't get why.

I like the idea of donating her hair. I hate the idea of donating her hair being used to appease her dad. She doesn't need to justify it or find excuses.
