Would I BU to run screaming into the street?

Just went to use some flour - absolutely teeming with ghastly little black things. Further four bags AND the sugar the same. WTF? Are they weevils or something? Now I am itchy all over and everything from that cupboard is outside like a pile of nuclear waste!

Weevils. Bin the stuff, clean the cupboard and keep flour, etc in sealed containers in future. Should they little blighters develop, you can just empty the container and clean that. They are harmless btw.

Urrgh you poor thing. We had similar recently - fucking seeds from the health shop. Bring on the bleach and the chemicals is what I say now, after opening a cupboard door and having a flock herd shoal hive gaggle hundreds of fucking moths fly out at me. It's awful :(

Moths? I'm terrified of moths - why do they flap about so much . Cupboard and everything in it's proximity has been bleached and all I can say is it's lucky I don't own a flame thrower!

I was told that weevils are totally harmless and used to be pretty common in flour. Apparently that's why recipes always tell you to sieve the flour: to remove the little buggers.
