Should NOT have been shouting "blacklivesmatter" at police last night? Doesn't it totally miss the point of a hugely important movement if you take knives to a party, stab people, shout that at the police who come to stop the stabbings, and then rampage into mcdonalds to steal all the food?

Or am I hugely missing the point?

I doubt they can even grasp the importance of BLM, and what's worse is they then do their absolute best to discredit it.

Anyone who behaves like that is an ignorant and spoiled little first world baby.

Amen to that!

NickiFury · 20/07/2016 09:39

It was just a riot plain and simple despite the demonstration against racism spin they're trying to put on it.

Just arseholes pinning their bad behaviour onto a handy cause

It was very hot. There is always trouble on very hot days.
Apparently there had been flyers distributed about a free party on Hyde Park. So take some drunk idiots and hot weather, and the results are predictable.

Apparently it was a water fight between two schools that got out of hand and then some people started attaching the very important BLM slogan to it and, in my view, betraying it.

I don't know which schools were involved and I'd be interested to know as I live very locally. I wondered what the helicopters were for last night...

Saw this the other day. I think it may be a good point.
