Unlike the rest of the country here we are having the first nice sunny above 20C day in a month (and tomorrow it's going to rain again) so i was keen to go to the beach with the DC.
DH wanted to go to a lovely beach 2,5h drive away, so all together 5h in a car with DC (1 and 3.5).
We did this recently and it was fine but not relaxing in any way.
There is a perfectly good beach 25min away from us.
But now that DH is not getting what he wants he is not really interested, so keeps finding other things he absolutely HAS to do before going anywhere.
DS 1 is upset as he has been promised beach and I literally can't tell him when we are going and DH will not commit to a time .
DC2 is now having a nap, so that inevitably delays us further.
Aibu to pissed off that we are wasting the one nice day we have had for ages and maybe the only one this summer?
I feel like I should have just took the kids myself but that will definitely lead to an argument, also just wanted to do this all together
