To hate loathe and detest the pop-up ads on Mumsnet

I know this is a free site, but these bloody Jet2holiday ads which keep popping up all the time are driving me nuts. They pop up when I first open mums net; loading new threads; going within half a page of "trending" - and no chance of avoiding them by making sure the cursor absolutely definitely doesn't go anywhere near their ads. And if you think you can get rid of them by hitting the little cross in the corner - nope - apparently that's a request to fully open up their sodding website. Which I am not interested in.

Is there any way I can switch them off?

I use ad-blocker. No more ads.

Search penguin bollards then the ads are more interesting!

If you click the little triangle next to that cross it takes you to an Adblock thingy. Since I did that I get very few thank goodness.
