DH out tonight drinking with two friends. Doesn't go out loads, all fine. Home about 11 not in too bad a state, off he goes to bed.

I have just discovered him pissing in our DS's bedroom, all over him train set on the floor. Thrown things away, had to scrub the floor, get the steam cleaner out etc etc. All the while he's hovering around muttering apologies and saying 'leave it' but he's too pissed to do anything about it.

I am RAGING. AIBU to be so annoyed? Angry

If it happens more than once then it is intentional , unless he was forced to drink.

He knows booze makes him this disgusting, he therefore needs to drink less. If he is an addict then he gets help.

Too simple?

I can't believe the acceptance of manbabies pissing in various places other than the toilet. If you do this after a few drinks then don't bloody drink. I would be furious OP and honestly I would be hard pushed to stay with someone who does something so gross.

I know of one woman who peed into an open suitcase while drunk, mistaking that for a toilet seat.

But generally, I do think it's rare for women.

Maybe because a bloke can simply piss wherever, but women need to sit/squat on the loo? So it's easier for a bloke to subconciously think they're in the bathroom and just point & piss?

I'm with Kenduskeag and LokisUnderpants. I've never had a boyfriend or partner do this and I would never look at one the same way again if they did. It's one of the most revolting things I can think of.

Nanny0gg · 17/07/2016 19:33

I (thankfully) had never heard of this before MN.

It's filthy and disgusting. But then so is being that drunk in my view.

It's certainly not something I'd be easily forgiving.

HermioneJeanGranger · 17/07/2016 19:37

Oh please, this is NOT normal. It's disgusting.

I've never known a grown man to pee in bed, in a wardrobe, in the airing cupboard, on their kids toys or anywhere else. All the men I know pee in the toilet like a normal adult, or maybe behind a tree if they get caught short in public.

They don't go around peeing on carpets, bedding or in various corners of the house, though Hmm

Raspberry I have a friend who did that once, wonder if it's the same person!

Charley50 · 17/07/2016 19:46

I had an ex who peed in my friend's fridge at a party once. Blush He was already an ex.
OP he didn't mean to do it though. No point being furious for long.

I know of more females who have done this than males in real to be honest.

If he is sorry embarrassed and it is not common occurrence I would settle for him shampooing the carpet and making dinner to be honest.
