I know this is the wrong place.
Im 37 weeks pregnant. My waters have been leaking and I was going to aim for a VBAC but I've been asked to make a quick decision. Whether to have my waters broken artificially or go for a cesearean. My husband isn't here and I'm upset and don't know which is best.

Anyone had any experience of this?
Anyone know of I'm going to have an increased risk of scar rupture if I have my waters properly broken?

I'm desperately scouring the Internet. Help!

I had my waters broken by them. Huge ass metal rod thing.

Uncomfortable feeling but that was it.

Thank you. Was yours a VBAC? Xx

Honestly, you are best asking the drs as they can help you assess your risks.

Fwiw, I've had 3 cs and would quite like DC 4 but the worry of a 4th section is quite considerable. If it poses no extra risk,I'd give vbac a try.

Good luck and just focus on the lovely little baby you're about to meet!
