Two teachers took DD to hospital today and then took her to the pharmacy to get her prescription before making sure she got home safely. DD bought them both a box of celebrations and a card to say thank you out of her own money. Is this enough?

Thank you everyone. I wrote them a note to say I'm very thankful and that DD wanted to get them a little gift to say thank you because they went out of their way to make sure she was okay when they could of just sent her home on the train.

I agree it's the card and gesture that means most.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 10/07/2016 16:50

Of course it's enough. It's a lovely gesture
Why are taking notice of what some random women says.

I did the same with another child, albeit abroad and had wine and a card! Very touched!

Your daughter sounds very thoughtful, I hope she's better now.

My husband once took a lost dog into a police station, his owners were found, thankfully, they asked the police for our address and left a box of chocolates and thank you card on the doorstep the next day. My husband was very touched by the gesture. A small thank you gesture is sometimes all that's needed to make someone's day.

Thank you everyone,I liked reading your little stories as well. DD called me to say that both teachers were very happy and one even cried. It really is the little things that mean a lot.Flowers
