We live in a detached house, we have fields beside and behind us, the nearest house is about 100 feet away. They are back from holiday today and so their yappy dog is back and has been yapping away in a horrible high pitched way for two hours, interspersed with loud comments like 'be quiet YappyDog' and 'shut the f* up YappyDog'.

They've been camping and took the dog with them so it's not like they haven't seen her. The dog can't help it but I am sick of them shouting and swearing.

100ft away through two sets of walls and you can hear every word of their comments? YANBU but wow, sound carries in your area!

I'm out in the garden and they are shouting in their garden.

Shout back. They won't expect it and the shock may shut them up!
