To flip out at HB use of words

Perfect Friday night, we got a bit jolly with wine. Listening to some music, he goes into babbling about how you feel about your first girlfriend... Like she is a whore in bed. WTAF??? Cue me getting all upset, now all the words I hear are 'nagging' and telling off. How nice is this for a wife to hear. Wife that you can hardly fuck once a month. Bloody seething. DH estranged.

You are upset. But I can't make much sense out of your post. Go to bed and part again in the morning.

ABloodyDifficultWoman · 08/07/2016 23:19

Confused I'm afraid I can't quite grasp what's got your goat here. I think a couple of paracetamol and a lie down might help.

hownottofuckup · 08/07/2016 23:19

What's HB? I thought they were pencils?

MorningBird23 · 08/07/2016 23:22

Sorry I meant DH. A bit tipsy. How can he say things like first girlfriend and whore to his wife who more often gets words like telling off and nagging. And whom he can't properly fuck.

I thought you meant Housing Benefit.

Have you had many girlfriends in the past OP?

Ivorbig1 · 08/07/2016 23:24

You sound angry, and dare I say ..resentful about of lack of fucks ??? This needs a sober discussion... Tomorrow

EveOnline2016 · 08/07/2016 23:25

Op I think you need some water and to sleep the wine off.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 08/07/2016 23:25

Isn't that a saying? Like "a lady on the street, a whore in the bedroom"? I personally wouldn't be bothered by this, particularly if said when drunk. Maybe that's just me though.

hownottofuckup · 08/07/2016 23:27

Ah been there OP. Honestly, get a glass of water and go to bed.
Definitely don't just have to go to say one last thing to him. It. Never. Ends. Well.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 08/07/2016 23:28

howtonotfuckup knows how to not fuck up.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 08/07/2016 23:29

Ah epic fail! hownottofuckup

Griphook · 08/07/2016 23:45

I thought you were offended by him called someone a whore. I would be

JackieAndHyde4eva · 08/07/2016 23:48

Your husband called a woman a whore?? I'd be fucking fuming at that. What an asshole.

TheUnsullied · 08/07/2016 23:51

Maybe his attitude towards women and the lack of fucks are related?

Here, have a Brew

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 08/07/2016 23:52

If I've grasped this right, your DH described his first girlfriend as a whore (which you think is good), but describes you as a nag (which is bad), and you don't have sex enough?

I think this is a sober conversation. I also think talking about ex partners is not a good idea, most of the time - especially not drunk, or when one person is feeling neglected.

YourNewspaperIsShit · 09/07/2016 01:41

My DP says his ex wasn't very exciting in bed, and I believe him they were young and virginal (me on the otherhand...not so much Grin) if I get this right you're a bit upset that he's looking back on that relationship with a fondness for the amount of sex they were having?

Ex talk when drunk can get really bad especially if you accidentally call them the wrong name due to the convo I would see how you feel in the morning and let him know why what he's said had upset you and that you'd like to work on your sex life, hope things go well OP
