Who you like but who sometimes makes you cringe a bit

It's very early days and he's sweet but sometimes I cringe (inwardly) with things he says etc. Maybe it's me. I'm pissed

Like this evening DP described something as 'a poisoned chalice' which he only learnt because there it was used in an article the other day to describe the leadership of the Tory party - he didn't really know what it meant now I just laugh at him and think it's sweet

Literally LOLling at that, Middle. He's always using phrases he doesn't understand, bless him. Sometimes I just let it slide and then sometimes I take great joy at just laughing in his face

My ex did that, too - still does: using phrases he had heard elsewhere without having a fucking clue what it meant.

He's trying too hard, might possible relax a bit more when you know each other better. Seems like he's not wanting to lose you!

I had some dates with someone who was "nice". I liked him. He was good in bed although I hadn't had the sex for aaaaages. However. He did not get my sense of humour, at all. AND he asked me to go on holiday with him after about three weeks.
