Me and dh have just had a debate over.......

Hotdogs

He says it should go roll, onions and the sausage on top

I said its bread, sausage and then onions on top.

So entertain me and tell me what is the correct way of assembling the hot dog.

I know in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter as it goes into your mouth all at once but damn it, it's the principle!

It should be: roll, slice of cheese, sausage, american mustard. Onions ruin it damn it

I stick it all on the table so everyone can do it their own way

You need to onions on top so you can inhale one up your nose when you bite down.

Don't you think the oil from the fried onions would soak into the bread if they were first in the stack?

Then twist the sausage to spread it around a bit

Slicing the roll sideways instead of along the top is 100x worse than putting onions in first. How are you still with this man? 😀

He cooks, he cleans, he runs me a nice bath and he encourages me to have time to myself whilst he takes over the childcare for a couple of hours

Whatever you're putting in goes on the bottom and then the sausage on top. And always cook 4 times as many onions as you think you need!
