To go out to dinner by myself?

I mean, that's surely a perfectly normal thing to do. Right?

I wanted my partner to come with me but he's only just left work and says he's too tired and his company wouldn't be good.

Except I still want to go.

Would people stare? I would take a book so I wouldn't be staring at people who were in groups.

Have you ever been out to dinner on your own? Would you?

I think this may be a 'MN' thing ...

I do this once in a while - I have strong cravings for Chinese food and noodles and DP gets bored of it. I pretend to play on my phone while eavesdropping and slurping noodles Grin.

I do it! Away for work, kids at their dads, when sorting out relatives 200 miles away - or just because!

I take a good book - and I love it! 😁

Yes often, especially on holiday or away with work.

I like it. I like to people watch. I try and get a spot up by the bar/chef area of its laid out like that so I can watch them work.
