Semi light hearted.

Please, please, please can you post your new threads in the Referendum section, or join an existing thread or at least make it abundantly clear in the title it's about 'you know what' so I don't make the mistake of clicking on it.

Oh the irony. Flouncers corner >>>>>>>

JudyCoolibar · 26/06/2016 13:14

I can't stand all the wailing and attention seeking now. It's ridiculous. Friday yes, I can understand the shock

It may have escaped your attention, Kimonono, but the problems caused by this haven't magically disappeared since Friday, and the situation is changing and developing almost on an hourly basis.

I do get the distinct feeling that most of the people complaining are those who don't like reading uncomfortable facts.

meditrina · 26/06/2016 13:15

Pan

Is that a challenge?

(BTW is that the original Pan, now European expansive form, spilling out disreputably from a pavement cafe?)

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 26/06/2016 13:16

Price of import sex toys?

Preferences and practices in the 28 27 EU countries?

ExcuseMyEyebrows · 26/06/2016 13:17

Maybe in your lifetime LumpySpacedPrincess!

That1950sMum · 26/06/2016 13:18

This is probably one of the most disastrous things to happen to our country in a generation, but you'd rather we all just get over it and get back to discussing Love Island and how much we all hate Peter Andre?

Okey dokey then OP.

PanEuropeanPan · 26/06/2016 13:19

Indeed meditrina - it IS a challenge (though I've never been to the Sex topic!) and yes it's Pan, setting up my chalkboard easel on the pavement in a small town in Essex much to the disgruntlement of the local Brexiteers...

Thornrose · 26/06/2016 13:23

I was going to start a thread about my current obsession with crap reality tv and celeb twaddle. It's the perfect antidote for what's going on around me.

I totally blame Brexit.

Crunchymum · 26/06/2016 13:35

God can't people fucking read.... the first post did say semi lighthearted.

You can't even spell it out these days.

As it so happens I've been glued to many a thread here regarding "Brexit" and have learnt a lot. I just think it's getting a bit out of hand.

2 threads on first page were Brexit related and neither mentioned it in the title, plis all those threads that do mention it. I think there is only 2 or 3 non Brexit related threads on page one.

Of course I get the irony that mine is one of them!!!

OP posts:
WorraLiberty · 26/06/2016 13:35

I disagree, this is the most important and divisive political situation in living memory, of course people are going to discuss it at length and aibu is a good platform.

Yes but what's the problem with discussing it at length, on one of the many many many other threads?

Are people so arrogant that they think their opinion deserves a whole thread of its own?

Crunchymum · 26/06/2016 13:36

Wish MNHQ would shift the lot of them!!!

WorraLiberty · 26/06/2016 13:39

GabsAlot · 26/06/2016 13:47

im fed up of it aswell-as for people saying most of the thread are from leave voters i dont think thats true

cant say a bloody word about it without being jumped on

Fairenuff · 26/06/2016 14:34

I like the new threads. It means that I don't have to read through pages and pages on the earlier ones.

But I didn't know there was a 'referendum section' although I admit I didn't look too hard for one.

WinnieTheW0rm · 26/06/2016 20:07

You mean it doesn't keep popping up in active for you?

(Or is that sort of question more appropriate for the sex thread?)

SpaceUnicorn · 26/06/2016 20:11

Using the topics - is that a unicorn I see cantering by?

ALongTimeComing · 26/06/2016 20:29

You know you have just started a referendum thread right?!?

At least distract with something funny!
