Yes I have voted, but I am sick and tired of the unrest, I'm aware there has been a lot of discontent for a long time but its now feeling toxic and I want it to be over one way or the other.

what a country we have. I'm so proud, a tiny little island that said no.

adrianna22 · 24/06/2016 05:18

Shariam is that all you care about??? Immigration???? !! For Fucks; what about people in high paid jobs that will face a hit(what about the economical crisis, the pound dropping and it already is! Not only that, but another recession is likely to reoccur.

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 24/06/2016 05:18

This will have a dramatic effect on our economy. Sterling has gone into free fall - it's the lowest it's been since the seventies when last night before the results came in it was buoyant - it's all deeply worrying. Economists are saying house prices, pensions etc. will crash and the cost of living will become more expensive. Can't help feeling David Cameron might have made a huge mistake handing such a momentous decision over to the general public.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:18

Im so impressed, never thought we would do it, we have... the government as we know it sent out so much propaganda, it didn't work.. for once I feel that this is our country again.. In saying that I adore other cultures etc. but there's a big saying... when you live in rome you do as the romans do. Not no more, its enough. YAY. our country back.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:21

Im prepared for dramatic effect. Im stoic

Shariamom · 24/06/2016 05:21

Arianna.
Sorry but I have no sympathy for in high paid jobs.
They have milked money from us honest hard working people, swamped the country with immigrants, shouted at us as racists for merely pointing out this country is full up.
I can't even get near a council house as immigrants are given first dibs.
This result is a kick to the establishment, that the British public won't stand for this fascism any longer!

Onthedowns · 24/06/2016 05:22

It's not scaremongering the Bank of England are on way to make a statement. It's been suggested that if it falls to far they may not open trading markets. This is very real and like someone said it will take years to actually leave but the economic ramifications are now!

Cosmiccreepers203 · 24/06/2016 05:22

What kind of country will it be? One that is in full recession, with few jobs and very little government support. How about one where people now think it is ok to be openly bigoted. This is not the Britain that I love. It shares none of the qualities with the glorious past. We have all been taken for a ride and, unfortunately, it will be the worst off who will pay the biggest price, again.

Onthedowns · 24/06/2016 05:23

I would also be more concerned about the feckless scrounging in this country rather than immigrants so called taking up houses NHS schools! Complete tosh

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:24

Its going to be great, stop scare mongering.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:25

stop being such a bad loser

squoosh · 24/06/2016 05:26

Pointing out truths is 'scare mongering' and being a 'bad loser'.

Oh dear.

mixety · 24/06/2016 05:28

Devastated. Now facing days, months, years of uncertainty as a Brit living in the EU. My heart is beating really fast, this feels like someone has died...

I just can't quite believe it. It feels like there has been a mistake. Literally everyone I knew, insofar as they had declared their vote, was voting Remain except two people
Shows how unrepresentative my group of family, friends, colleagues and FB friends is.

Onthedowns · 24/06/2016 05:28

Exactly squoosh very mature by Farage also jumping up and down its not really appropriate

bumbleymummy · 24/06/2016 05:31

"It's going to be great" ? Oh yeah, recession is a barrel of laughs. Hmm

squoosh · 24/06/2016 05:31

Farage's 'bullet' comment went way beyond inappropriate.

That was chilling. A sign of things to come no doubt.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:33

It was a breath of fresh air

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 24/06/2016 05:34

The lunatics have left the asylum and are now running the country .... god help us... this is a terrible day for Britain.

MidnightAura · 24/06/2016 05:34

I respect everyone's right to vote but seeing the news has made me slightly sad. I can see Nicola Sturgeon using the fact that Scotland voted to remain to her advantage and the last thing I want is Indy ref 2!

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:34

We're out, my country voted out. The Euro never made it, thats all. we never took the currency at the beginning and we left.. good for us.

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:35

Its a fantastic day for England

Onthedowns · 24/06/2016 05:35

Anyone that thinks Farage is a breath of fresh air makes me really concerned

Onthedowns · 24/06/2016 05:36

Might not be fantastic day for the country but shows democracy works completely different

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 05:38

No more demands, more collaboration.

squoosh · 24/06/2016 05:38

His bullet comment was a breath of fresh air?
