Don't shave, pluck! (or epilate)

EveryoneElsie · 20/06/2016 11:20

You can get an electrolysis kit for a few quid off Ebay, and new pads/needles for not much money from China. And thats why I no longer have hobbit toes and a mustache Smile

Queenbean · 20/06/2016 11:21

Why would you be unreasonable to do that....??

maltesersaremine · 20/06/2016 11:24

Oh hadn't thought of plucking. There are quite a few. My concern abut shaving is they always tend to come back darker and thicker Hmm

I always shave my fingers and toes Blush Just do it regularly so it never has the chance to come back thicker.

IkeaTetris · 20/06/2016 11:31

I epilate my fingers and toes Blush

Flumplet · 20/06/2016 11:41

You mean it's not just me?!!?? That's a relief!!

I've taken to bleaching mine with a bit of Jolen. It looks a lot better.

Nabootique · 20/06/2016 12:41

I'm also a shaver, both fingers and toes! I just run the razor over them whilst doing legs in the bath.

maltesersaremine · 20/06/2016 12:44

Actually feel a whole load better for knowing I am not the only one Grin

I shave my hobbit feet and toes every morning when I do my legs.

SmellyTelly · 20/06/2016 12:56

I do!! I use hair removal cream I'm a hairy Mary

PPie10 · 20/06/2016 12:57

Just wax it? Grows back much lighter and barely visible.

UmbongoUnchained · 20/06/2016 12:57

But do you shave your arms? I can never get a straight answer out of anyone if this is a normal thing or not.

AYD2MITalkTalk · 20/06/2016 13:00

Hairy toes are a good thing! They show you have good circulation or so I like to tell myself Grin

AYD2MITalkTalk · 20/06/2016 13:04

People shave their legs every day?! Where do you find the time and the arsedness ? Don't your legs go horrible from the daily trauma of running a blade over them that frequently? I sometimes quickly run a trimmer over my lower legs once a week or so if I'm going to be wearing shorts frequently and that's about it Confused

Fluffyears · 20/06/2016 13:10

Just shave them. If you do it regularly then you don't see an if it growing back x

suit2845321oie · 20/06/2016 13:12

I always shave my feet and toes when I shave my legs and epilate my fingers, hands and arms

amigoingabitcrazy · 20/06/2016 13:15

I do mine every few days in the shower to keep them at bay! The hair texture hasn't changed in over 10 years Grin

If it makes you feel good, go for it!

jellyfrizz · 20/06/2016 13:17

People shave their legs every day?!

A bad combo of dark hair and pale legs means it's that or looking like I've got a hirsute man's chin for leg skin. If I shave mine in the morning they are stubbly by evening!

Nabootique · 20/06/2016 13:18

Umbongo I don't personally but I have friends who do and are quite open about it. I've considered doing mine as they are actually very hairy, but it's quite blonde.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 20/06/2016 13:19

I use the facial attachment to Lumea my toes Grin Can't bear toe hair, it just feels so manly!

AYD2MITalkTalk · 20/06/2016 13:21

Fair enough jelly - but in that circumstance, personally I'd become even more of a jeans person Grin

FlyingElbows · 20/06/2016 13:29

I shave my arms, umbongo, and my toes. And every other bloody thing! I should probably go to the gp.

CalmItKermitt · 20/06/2016 13:42

ooh itll come back darker and spiky. Itll be like The Fly Shock

WhoisLucasHood · 20/06/2016 13:45
