Going to try and keep this from being to identifying.

I have 1 ds of nearly 2 his dad has not paid a penny towards him since he was 4 months old.

He is extremely well off due to a change in circumstances but he owns buisnesses so doesn't have a job as such.

If I go to csa/cma I hand or heart think he'll deny paternity and whilst thats being sorted he'll move around all his finances so it looks as if he has nothing. He has form for this sort of thing and think that in the end I'll probably end up with so little that it'll be more stress then its worth.

He has no contact with ds through his choice any one with any experience of this much appreciated?

Tired, you are wise to think carefully about the stress involved.

However, could you keep your cards close to your chest, don't tell anyone about your intended action (so there's no chance it will get back to your ex) then go ahead and get the DNA results to prove paternity.

Then you can decide whether to take further action.

It does depend how certain you are his circs really have dramatically changed as to whether a claim for your DC is worthwhile.

Unfortunately I am 100% about his circumstances but I don't see how I can prove it.

Just seems such a difficult route to go down and I have tried to just talk to him but he's been changing numbers/addresses for a while even though I managed to get a phone call from him the other day he is extremely unreasonable after 18 months of no contact I don't see what else I am meant to do.

We share no mutuals friends so he wouldn't find out what I am planning.
