so us subject types can't pass comment on her outfit because the over privileged one in green wouldn't give a shit about us commoners anyway.

sounds about right.

Lol at Armi I would love to hear the Queen say "one does not give a hairy rat's arse" Smile

It's a bit ravey fluoro, I'm a bit fan of wearing whatever the fuck you want though so in that respect I thought it was pretty cool to wear it rather than normal pastelly colours.

I am not going to diss a 90-year-old. Or a toddler.

I'd happily diss that knobber Charles but thankfully didn't spot him in the one photo they showed on TV here.

Why do people dramatise things, really OP did you really need sunglasses for the Queens outfit Hmm

Yes it's an different but stop dramatising thing that need not be.

It's bright, but certainly not an solar eclipse!

Yes I agree, the colour was a bit out there I must admit. Maybe she's trying a new style! God love her she's just fabulous!!

I loved the fact she wore bright green! I thought it was much more exciting than pastels or something and if I was queen I would definitely go for bright colours. I'm not a royalist at all btw

The boy in the sailor suit was left on the balcony. I am wondering if he was Camilla's grandson?

It was a very green outfit, but at least she couldn't be missed, and I loved the contrast with the pink flowers.

Oh I do love Queenie, I thought it was a bit green but meant no-one could miss her!
Am I the only one who wonders how they can get all of those LOs in one place without a single tantrum? Can they all be so perfectly behaved?

I liked it.

I'm imagining Miranda Richardson as queenie from Blackadder...

"Are you sure about the green, ma'am?"
"WHO'S QUEEN?!?"

She wore it well. She always looks good.

she was well turned out, looked well and stood on her feet for hours. At 90 years old she is amazing and I don't think that is just to do with a wealthy lifestyle. I personally don't love the royals, but critiquing a woman on her clothes is very backward in equality.

My jaw literally dropped at sight of that hue. She does wear bright colours and wears them well but today was a whole new level! The pink flower on her hat went peculiarly well though.

I loved it! Some of those fluro yellow converse would have finished the outfit perfectly though. I am equally loving some of the green screen jobs people have done on her outfit

Wasn't the boy in the sailor suit Edward and Sophie's son?

Ginbunny. I was watching thinking the little ones are going to kick off, but total angels through it all.

I think it was her nod to acid house... Have you ever seen the Queen and Carl Cox, famous DJ, in a picture together? No! Because the Queen IS Carl Cox in disguise!
The lining was probably smiley- faced patterned.

Duck - I don't think I've ever seen a royal tantrum. Or even one crying. Surely the odds are stacked against that?

No Luna. He was stood with them.

I bought a 'boyfriend blazer' off eBay in that exact shade of fucking-hell-my-bastard-eyes lime green. I've not worn it yet. No wonder it was 99p. I'll save it til I'm 90 then?

Grilledaubergines · 11/06/2016 23:24

She looked bloody fabulous. I pray if I'm fortunate enough to make it to 90 that I have the style of the woman. And the mental capacity and energy she has too.

I thought it was a bold choice but she looked fabulous.
