My grandfather fought in WW2 against the Japanese and was then part of Occupation forces and he came out of it thinking we were not fighting for our freedom at all but for a policy of endless war in which his descendants would constantly be required to put their lives on the line for very little in return. Our families on both sides were much worse off and ,yes, we 'lost faith' because some pretty big players in religious organizations played a critical role in the deaths of those millions. They got what they wanted, why are we seriously supposed to breed more serfs for them?
