to wonder about the distant memory of viagra

This has just randomly popped into my head after reading another poster question on some condoms in her partners wash bag, it prompted a memory from years ago!

While with an x I went in his wallet for something (I wasn't stealing) and found a small foil package with a couple of tablets inside, it didn't look like the original package and was open in the sense that I could see the tablet, it's a bit of a fuzzy memory but I can't remember if it had Viagra written on it or the package but it was definitely written somewhere

We had never (to my knowledge) used it or needed it, we were in our 20s at the time, my partner was quite dominant in that I would never initiate sex, it would always be him, usually just watching telly and moving on from there so I can't imagine he would of had an opportunity to take them without me knowing

It just seems so random and I can't remember why I didn't confront him at the time, except I was pregnant and he had previously cheated, so I think I was a bit scared to ask!! But surely if you're cheating it's with someone that floats your boat IYKWIM so wouldn't need them!

As I've written this I'm not really sure what my question is he was quite a gym buff so I wonder if there's like a secondary use for it to give you more stamina at the gym? I'm not very clued up on drugs and he was very anti drugs! Just an interesting memory more than anything that I wish I knew the answer too out of curiosity more than anything!

I wonder what random stuff you guys have found in people's possession that for what ever reason you never got an explanation for?

Well the thought of someone taking viagra at the gym has just conjured up a pretty amusing mental image!! On second thoughts I imagine that's probably not the use for it!!

Did he do recreational drugs? It was commonly combined with coke and ecstasy, because those drugs are erection killers.

But I remember it being a bit of a novelty thing for blokes to get hold of them. Loads of guys at uni bought them just for the sake of buying them

I can't think of any illicit uses for Viagra. Maybe even though he was anti drugs, he didn't consider them as such because they are available on prescription, and he used them to maintain an erection?

I can't imagine him using them as an actual 'drug' for a high or whatever, and I would be very suprised to learn he had any difficulties in that department, but it's not impossible! There was only 2 tablets though and I checked back after a few weeks and they were both still there, so obviously hasn't needed them in those 2 weeks!! And then after another few weeks a check and they were gone, never to be seen again! 🤔

sparechange he was dead against recreational drugs but he did tell me he 'used' to do steroids! He had a whole load of funny double stands, but that's a whole other story!

Gosh half of my post didn't make it! But it sounds like it could be the case maybe? He may have kept them in case they were required or may have used them. There's plenty of opportunities to take a pill over the course of an evening. You wouldn't necessarily have known

I agree that seems the most likely! I'm not very clued up on my viagra and probably naively thought you would take it and then dtd straight away, I suppose there's a bit more of a delay to it than that!

Of course he would...it only takes a minute to pop a pill and within half an hour he would be ready to go....hence you both watching telly then 'moving on from there'
