As a general point, I would suggest that it's more that people who seek power are probably the last people who should have it ...

Hoping to obtain decent working conditions from the EU because our own Country keeps voting for the wrong people isn't very democratic - nor has it been effective for the Shirebrook workers who have received zero protection from the EU. At least it shows remainers agree the EU is undemocratic and overules our own government - the fact they can't foresee any problems when it's not going the way they want is scary.
