How have you coped with your worst nightmare?

Hi all

Posting here for traffic. I talked to a friend this morning. She has a 3 month old. Friends sister was visiting. She cannot cope with vomit. Picked her niece up for a cuddle, made the fatal mistake of holding her baby niece above her face. You can guess the rest. Baby vomit in her hair, all over her face, including her mouth, and down the inside of her top.

Friends sister was gagging and came pretty close to vomiting .

So, what's your worst nightmare, and how did it happen??

Looking again - this thread seems to be about phobias....

'Worst nightmare' has different meaning to different people; I apologies; it was unwise to share that. It might be best for an admin to remove the post I made; I don't wish to upset or offend in a thread I seem to have somewhat misunderstood?

Horrified fascination is the only way to describe this thread. Each post more horrific than the last, but impossible to tear yourself away at the same time, you just have to keep on reading!

Sweet dreams everyone, if you can manage it.

Dead bodies feel really guilty for not visiting my mum in the chapel of rest last year

Eyes as in, in photos, magazines, paintings, statues - when they look like they are looking at you and watching you, following you around. Hate it. I have to turn the magazines over, hide them, put something less offensive on top.

Things that are a bit under and a bit on top of water like ship hulls, ropes from boats to the anchor, those big metal bouy things, ladders on the sides of boats. I don't mind being on boats but I can't swim next to them or anything. Also empty swimming pools in dark rooms or when the blue cover thing is pulled across, anything could be under there!
