Bit of a potty training dilemma, have been trying for a week, Dd goes through most days with 1-2 accidents max. Has pooed on the potty. We are using nappies for naps/nighttime/long car journeys. Tomorrow we're visiting a friends home for coffee for an hour or so, chances are Dd won't even need to go...but if she poos...There's a cream carpet...so would I be unreasonable to.put her in a nappy for the visit just in case? And at what point is it OK to say to he'll.with it knickers all the way :)

You say hell with it in your own home, not someone else's where you are visiting. Just for one day put her in a nappy.

I must admit I would be furious if my friend let their partly potty trained child shit on my floor because "to hell with it", especially on cream carpet. Put a nappy on for an hour.
