To send son to football camp in rain

Quick question. My 5 year old has a football camp booked for this week it is his first session today from 10 until 3. It is now really raining in London but set to clear up around 11 or 12 should I still send him. I'm not working so it isn't a case of childcare just a fun activity for him. Well at least that's what I planned for Hmm

My boyfriend (not his Dad) and my Dad say to send him because footballers still play in the rain. But he's not really at the Messi level yet.

It's rain. And it's summer.

He won't melt.

You're being precious. He will have a great time.

Send him

They might all mither at first but they will get into the game and won't care

I'd send him if he still wants to go.

Waterproof clothes and he'll be fine.

My ds plays football in the rain...he doesn't seem to mind...I give him a waterproof jacket and he's fine. In London too...weather is horrendous but like you say will probably ease up later.

Yes send him. He will be fine and the coaches are used to it. Hope he enjoys it, my two loved those camps.
