I have 9 and I love them all, some aren;t as good as others, the only ones that really hurt were my feet and I then had an allergic reaction to cream so they hurt for a very long time. that said it was only feb I had them done and I had another 3 weeks ago and am having another on sunday so it can;t have been that bad.
I love tattoos mine don;t have particular meaning are just things that make me smile, my feet are my little ponies and my newest one is an octocpus (baby kraken) sat on top of an ice cream sundea. Sundays one is a my little pony mermaid. I intend to be fully coloured in eventually.

Ye i have about 15 altogether, including a sleeve. The worst "pain" was where your batwing is ,and the bony wrist part.

I dont regret them but i do have 1 especially i dislike. Its Woodstock but its small and at the top of my arm.An he will be covered soon [hopefully]

Spokbot · 26/05/2016 15:59

I have two. First one was DD's name and second one is a cherry blossom. I regret the first one. Only because I had it done at a very popular seaside place and it's shit.
Just do your research on the tattoo artist and look at some of their other work and you will be fine.

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 26/05/2016 16:05

Have about 20.

Don't actively regret any of them but I have my hand and neck tattooed and if I'm dressing 'down' I guess they can look kind of rough.

With make up, hair done, nice clothes they look great and I utterly love them. But when I was ill with a chest infection recently I had to drag myself to the doctors/pharmacy in the jogging bottoms and band tee that I'd slept in and mad unwashed hair - fuck me, I was properly ill that week - and I knew what people were thinking about me. It wasn't good.

Without the tattoos I would've have just been another ill person seeking antibiotics and lempsip. With the tattoos I was an unclean junkie. I was embarrassed.

I have one and 3/4,
One at the base of my neck and another across the whole of my back that is yet to be finished (hence 3/4)
The only bit that really hurt on mine was at the bottom of my back, that was almost unbearable, but not quite.
Will definitely get more once my back piece is complete. Smile

Salene · 26/05/2016 16:08

I have three and regret them all, just think there tacky now I'm older. All are no visable , both hips and top of bum cheek

I think the hurt like hell personally. I wished I'd never got any

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 26/05/2016 16:08

The worst "pain" was where your batwing is.

Christ, isn't it? The rest of my arm was a doddle, then he got to that bit and my eyes almost popped out.

And my stomach. Don't tattoo your stomach. Hurts.

Missrubyring · 26/05/2016 16:09

Oh and no, I don't regret them.

pillowaddict · 26/05/2016 16:10

Wrist, neck, hip and foot - foot was most uncomfortable but I had it extended so obviously not too sore! Love them all, happy memories associated with each. Planning 2 more!

Pocketsocks · 26/05/2016 16:15

I have one, only because I'm too poor to get more right now!
My friends chipped in for my 21st birthday.
I'm 30 now and I kind of regret it but that regret is fixable.
It's the names I gave to my two lost pregnancies, both ended in rather traumatic ways and I needed closure so they are on the back of my neck, "behind me"
However on the rare occasions they are seen it's hard to answer questions.
If it was more than just two names sat there I think I'd feel it less obvious so one day I'm going to add to it, flowers and such I think.
The crick in my neck from leaning forward hurt more than the tattooing, it was just slightly painful scratching which got a bit more sensitive nearer the end.

dustarr73 · 26/05/2016 16:17

King there not enough ink on this earth for my stomach so its safeGrin

BadDoGooder · 26/05/2016 16:22

Wrist, forearm and big one at the top of an arm, all "tribal" style (i hate that word but it explains well!)
Big one on my back.
Four letters in "Old english style" on the top of my back.

Still love them all, want more but just cant afford it atm. Especially as what I have planned will involve lots and lots of black ink!

Worst bit was the knobs of my spine, not because of the pain, but because it made my whole skeleton vibrate! V weird feeling!

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 26/05/2016 16:23

Ah, you could turn it into a great big smiley face...

Stomach done people, i wonder if anyone can help....

I have one planned, but wanted to lose some weight first. Has anyone had one done fat and then lost weight? I'm umming and ahhing about the change in shape...

MintyChapstick · 26/05/2016 16:35

I have one on my shoulder a butterfly. I don't regret it, it's part of me now. I was only 17 when I had it done (I know, I know!) but i don't remember it being all that painful. Everyone is different, my DB has two half sleeves on both arms and and said they didn't hurt 'that much', but I think he might just being saying that lol.

(I'm pear shaped, though i have a fatter belly than 'usual', its not mahoosive)

PirateFairy45 · 26/05/2016 16:38

I have one on my wrist. I forget it's there a lot.

Didn't really hurt, I watched as they did it. Fascinated.

When DD was very little I went for a shower I was so tired I hadn't remembered my tattoo and tried to scrub it off as I was so bleary eyed I thought i was dirty. (It's a bright float design)

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 26/05/2016 16:39

I am the person with the super cool Watership Down tattoo. Covers most of my lower leg and a bit of my foot.

And I've not shaved for a couple of days so the bunnies are actually fluffy...

The foot has The Black Rabbit Of Inle.

The leg is the scene from the beginning where El-ahrairah is having his bottom blessed by Frith. There's a few trees and other bunnies in the background.

Drew it all myself too.

GloopyGhoul · 26/05/2016 16:48

I have one on my forearm. It hurts more than I expected, but it does depend on the thickness of the needle they use. It's totally forgettable pain though, and I'm tempted to get another one quite soon.

jo2107 · 26/05/2016 16:54

Yes i have a few, wouldn't say i regret any, but there are some i don't like any more, i guess i've outgrown them, had them young and have change quite a bit since then. Am in the process of getting them lasered off. That does hurt that's for sure!

jo2107 · 26/05/2016 16:57

Ones i'm keeping are on my right foot, left ankle, left wrist and top of my back. Love those ones. Foot hurt but bearable.

One that's coming off is my lower back, that really did hurt and i felt sick when the machine went over my spine. Urgh.
