Yes! There are crap loads of tendons and stuff in fingers what may have been damaged!

Definitely get to A&E with that, it looks fairly deep and wide.

Yes go! Does your doctor's do minor surgery? Poor guy. It looks bloody painful.

Yanbu, the cut looks quite deep & if not sorted properly would make it too easy to get infected, go to a&e or a minor injuries if you have one of those local, hope he's ok

Yep, A&E for that. How old is he? I'd probably go to A&E as minor injuries won't be able to assess any damage to tendons / nerves etc. If they think there might be damage they'll send you to a&e anyway. Hope he feels better soon
