About right of way being blocked?

Ok, this is vvv dull but it's winding me up and I don't know if I am being petty!

I have right of access across next door neighbours back yard. I only use it for taking my bins out, and have a gate enclosing my garden.

The new neighbours have started parking their bins in front of my gate and leaning their bike against it, meaning I have to move if every time I take my bins out.

It's starting to really annoy me, WIBU to politely ask them to stop?

They're making it very clear that they gave no intention of giving you right of way, so I doubt you'll get a polite response. Where is the gate? Is it against the bottom of the garden or do you have to walk close to their house?

We have similar with neighbours having access over our land between the houses. In the deeds we have to leave a specific width clear although they feel free to clutter the path up.

It's to the side of my back door. The yards to all the other houses are open, so they have to walk across another neighbours yard to take their bins out.

YWNBU, you have right of access and they are blocking that access. Give them a gentle reminder and say you'd hate to damage their bike/gate by crashing into it with your bins when you are putting them out

Put their bins outside their backdoor each time, so they have to keep moving them back. They are being PA so should you.

I'm assuming the benefit of the right of way is on your deeds?

Have a word and just politely explain that you have to cross their yard to empty your bin. Explain that you have no desire to invade their privacy but you do have the legal right and necessity to do this so how can you make it least painful for them.

At the moment I'm just passive aggressively moving their bins/bike out of the way of my gate, but I think I will try that!

I'd speak to them about it. They are meant to keep it clear. I'd try and keep things friendly if you can.

Can you go round the front and ring their doorbell and ask them to move them every single time?
