shouldnt it have been 'Rachel Weisz and husband Daniel Craig' if they wanted to be specific?

So.. that would be a journo noticing James Bond is in town supporting his wife... yeah, really not on.

Your thread title on the other hand is shocking, such a nasty journalistic insinuation... though I am sure you had no intention of telling us that Daniel Craig is gay, hiding behind a marriage of convenience!

She may have been but it's his name which is better known now (although I have never actually seen him in anything). Many years ago I lived next door to an actor called Philip Madoc, who used to play Lloyd George in a television adaptation - some time afterwards his wife Ruth was in Hi-De-Hi and thereafter he was referred to in the St Albans equivalent of the Argus as her husband.

I don't get what the problem is the article named both of them. He is a much much bigger name than her and so from a selling headline point of view of course you are going to put the most famous name first. If she goes on in the future to do a massive film that the whole world has seen then no doubt the names would be reversed. Other than The Mummy films I couldn't tell you what else's she's been in. I did know that they were married though.
