He was there to be with his wife, but she was there for work!
shouldnt it have been 'Rachel Weisz and husband Daniel Craig' if they wanted to be specific?

OP posts:
KimmySchmidtsSmile · 21/05/2016 23:07

She played Brad Fraser's girlfriend in The Mummy and The Mummy returns
Wink Sorry OP, couldn't resist.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Weisz

Weisz won best supporting Oscar for The Constant Gardener.

inabizzlefam · 21/05/2016 23:10

Sunnsoo, LOL

LaraCroftInDisguise · 21/05/2016 23:21

Rachel Weisz is more of an an attention grabber to me. I think she is an awesome actor. Why the fact that she is married to Daniel Craig (although I didn't know this) should grab the headlines is beyond me. I'm not "perpetually offended" but I do think she us a better actor the he.

LaraCroftInDisguise · 21/05/2016 23:22

*than he.

LaraCroftInDisguise · 21/05/2016 23:23

Oh god, ignore my many failings please! Grin

AnyFucker · 21/05/2016 23:28

I knew that Rachel Weisz was married to Daniel Crai < preens >

AnyFucker · 21/05/2016 23:28

Jamesnortonhotunderthecollar · 21/05/2016 23:31

Rufus - whenever I see Leo Dicaprio I always think he looks like Norman Lamont

Pagwatch · 21/05/2016 23:37

How the hell does anyone not know that Daniel Craig and Rachel Weiss are married.
They are independently well known - combined that must be multiplied.

She is great. A really good actress and so naturally beautiful.

AnyFucker · 21/05/2016 23:38

Ms Weisz is a very talented and engaging actor

and very, very beautiful

Daniel Crai is a lucky man

AnyFucker · 21/05/2016 23:38

g

Pagwatch · 21/05/2016 23:43

Grin @ anyfuckers g

LaraCroftInDisguise · 21/05/2016 23:44

I'd also like to argue the 'he's the bigger star' argument in another context.

My DP is more sociable than I am. Therefore is more 'popular'. Does that make him more important in his context?

AnyFucker · 21/05/2016 23:44

it used to be my j

which was less of a problem

Bolingbroke · 21/05/2016 23:49

Grin any.

I was concerned that you were going to suggest RW was a beard or that it wasn't a genuine relationship and I'm glad that isn't your point. Should get out more.

AnyFucker · 21/05/2016 23:52

I don't get the impression there is any facial hairiness ocurring

VioletBam · 21/05/2016 23:57

I saw her in a cafe in Primrose Hill years ago...she's so beautiful and pleasant.

(useless comment)

Theydontknowweknowtheyknow · 22/05/2016 06:50

I've always loved DC ever since he was in the Ice House but what I'd like to know is how come he's such a big feminist (he did that well-intentioned but misguided "in her shoes" ad) yet he plays the ultimate douchebag James Bond?

araiba · 22/05/2016 07:52

yet he plays the ultimate douchebag James Bond

hes an actor

Bolingbroke · 22/05/2016 10:25

I did read a brief interview with him when he was doing Spectre promo, and the interviewer was all "ooh you've got Monica Bellucci, how was it having an older woman for a Bond girl?" and he was like, erm wtf they're the same age!

I think he's played a part in modernising moneypenny and the Bond women, tiny steps in an outdated and sexist film franchise so I guess he's not all bad.

ForalltheSaints · 22/05/2016 11:49

I know someone who would have been gutted- I get an unhappy face from her whenever I mention that Daniel Craig is married.

AndTakeYourPenguinWithYou · 22/05/2016 11:58

This isn't sexism at all. Kate Winslet and husband, Nicole Kidman and husband. There are loads of examples in both directions. Whoever is more famous gets the lead, the point is to sell papers.

There is so much everyday sexism you don't need to make shit up. It just makes people stop listening at all.

AndTakeYourPenguinWithYou · 22/05/2016 11:59

My DP is more sociable than I am. Therefore is more 'popular'. Does that make him more important in his context?

Only if you are trying to sell something based on your relative popularity. Then yes.

wizzywig · 22/05/2016 12:07

I like how the restaurant/ hotel said that they wanted to go somewhere discrete, ywt they blabbed it all to a newspaper
