Not me. An email from Firebox advertising their Father's Day presents. I recently buried my dad.
AIBU or do I need some big grips?

Nope. I thought the same thing. It made me feel a little bit sad and I quietly unsubscribed from their emails.

To be fair, I've been considering it since they sent me an advert for a selfie stick that could take photos up your bum.

That's so ill judged.

Bereavement is one issue

but then so is the many myriad of ways people can be abused by either parent and the "hate" or avoidance has a valid basis.
