I know this has been done before but have a look at these beauties which have just appeared on my local page - only £15 each and apparently suitable until the age of 10! Bargain.

She ripped those hideous chairs off. I've seen them somewhere else over a year ago. I remember texting my friend so she could enjoy the hideousity.

RhiWrites · 17/05/2016 12:49

Argh. There's hundreds of them.

Those idea chairs cost £7! So you're paying £8 for someone to scribble on it.

Boop ShockGrin

My local selling pages are full of this shit.

Dizzydodo · 17/05/2016 13:40

I don't have a picture but at Christmas someone posted some pictures of 'Santa plates' they had painted for family gifts on a mummy & baby page (not even a selling page) then when people said 'very nice etc' (which they weren't) she piped up about selling them for £7 each. When people pointed out you could get nicer ones for less in home bargains she flounced off saying how mean everyone was! I've seen the chopping board Father's Day gift on a local page too, DH would be Hmm if I got him one from DD!

I didn't even cop on that they are time out chairs. They're a mess.
However I quite like the family plaque things. They're cute and the ones featured are pretty well made

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 17/05/2016 16:01

Woodenmouse · 17/05/2016 16:21

I love these threads!

FasterThanASnakeAndAMongoose · 17/05/2016 16:23

The fugly chairs are getting a lot of love on facebook. I don't get it!

One woman is currently debating whether to just get one for her older son, or to invest in 2 so that her boys can sit together in time out when the little one is bigger.

I looked at the profile of the woman selling them. She's got pictures of her small child doing the V sign. Better put her on the naughty chair for sassy little ladies...

There's a couple of things on here I might actually buy (not the cracked mirror though, I have one of those Grin)

I'm now seriously questioning my taste Shock

RaeSkywalker · 17/05/2016 16:32

Urgh, I didn't think there was a way to make time out sexist. And yet...

notamummy10 · 17/05/2016 16:34

Is she trying to make the chairs have a Disney theme or something?

ChaseAvenal · 16/06/2016 22:55

What I find really gross on top of the general sickening concept is that on that pinterest there is a picture pinned from an article on Jezebel.com called 'How to send your daughter to a time out... In the patriarchy!' that bemoans the sexism in a lot of these chairs, however people have taken it and pinned it earnestly on boards saying 'xxxx's Room' etc. Hmm

LadyLayLay · 16/06/2016 23:04

The use of "boys that.." is really annoying me Angry

TipBoov · 17/06/2016 19:40

£30 for some Lego figures and scrabble letters Shock

aaaaaargh · 17/06/2016 20:42

Place marking as I'm finding this highly amusing!

TipBoov · 17/06/2016 21:02
